Booking Terms & Conditions

These booking terms and conditions, including any revised booking terms and conditions that we may post from time to time, state the terms and conditions under which SEACLUB (“SEACLUB”, “we”, “us”, “our”) will provide accommodation to you (“you”). Please read these terms and conditions carefully.


1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 Unless the context otherwise requires, any capitalized terms used in these terms and conditions have the following meanings:

  • “Accommodation” refers to your villa stay.
  • “Booking” refers to a reservation made by you for Accommodation at the Property, whether made through our official social media accounts, our online booking channels, or otherwise.
  • “Charges” refers to the costs associated with your Booking as detailed in Clause 4.1.
  • “Force Majeure” refers to an unforeseeable, unavoidable event beyond a party's reasonable control, including fire, storm, earthquake, tsunami, flood, hurricane or other act of God, explosion, casualty, strike, unavoidable accident, riot, insurrection, civil disturbance, act of public enemy, act of terrorism, embargo, war, inability to obtain labor, materials or supplies, economic downturn, social or political factors, any outbreak of disease, epidemics, quarantine restrictions, public health restrictions, any governmental regulation, disruption to local, national or international transport services, restriction or prohibition, or any other similar cause.
  • “Property” refers to the SEACLUB villa that is the subject of your Booking.
  • “Terms and Conditions” refer to these booking terms and conditions, as may be amended by us from time to time.


2. BOOKINGS

2.1 You may make a Booking directly or via other channels (e.g., Social Media Accounts, Airbnb, Agoda, and Booking.com). Villas are subject to availability and any applicable service charges as advised during your booking process.

2.2 The villa(s) booked under this agreement may not be subleased or sublet to any third party. Any retreats, events, or functions to be hosted at the villa must obtain prior written approval from the management before the booking is finalized. Approved retreats are subject to a premium of US$150 per villa per night. 2.3 In order to secure your Booking, you are required to provide full payment depending on your applicable Accommodation rate.

2.4 In accordance with the rules and regulations of the country, all guests have to be registered, with valid proof of identification provided (passport or any government ID).

2.5 You do not acquire the right to the availability of a specific villa. SEACLUB reserves the right to substitute your Booking for a different villa of the same standard, at no additional cost to you, if the villa specified in your Booking is unavailable.

2.6 Your Accommodation can comfortably sleep up to six (6) guests. A maximum of eight (8) guests can stay in the villa and is subject to additional charges. Furthermore, should you require an additional bed, even with a party of 6 guests, please note that an applicable fee will be charged, US$29/night.

2.7 SEACLUB may cancel your Booking at any time, without prejudice to any other right it may have, if:

(a) you are in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions;

(b) it is for security purposes;

( c) it is by order of the Government or any public authority; or

(d) it is due to an event of Force Majeure.

2.8 Subject to the Property’s approval and payment of a USD 300 (or the equivalent amount in local currency at an exchange rate to be reasonably determined by us) damage deposit, pets are allowed at the Property. Pets shall not be left unattended in your villa unless notified to the front desk and housekeeping. The deposit less any deduction for damages, if applicable, will be refunded upon check-out.


3. CHECK- IN AND CHECK- OUT TIME

3.1 SEACLUB’s standard check-in time is 14:00hrs and check-out time is 12:00hrs midday.

3.2 If you would like to request an early check-in or a late check-out, please contact SEACLUB in advance to check availability and any additional charges that may apply.

3.3 Please note that in case you decide to depart earlier than your check-out date, SEACLUB will charge for the full stay reserved and booked unless otherwise specified in the cancellation policy of your Booking.


4. PAYMENT

4.1 Charges, including your outstanding Accommodation charges, if any, and any other charges, such as motorbike/ car rental, tours, airport transfers, and other services to your villa (“Charges”) are payable on presentation of an invoice for such Charges. You agree to be personally liable for all Charges incurred.

4.2 At check-in you will be required to provide a security deposit of USD 300 to cover potential incidentals as advised by the Property in the form of credit card pre-authorization.

4.3 All Charges have to be settled upon check-out at the latest. If for any reason you do not pay the Charges (or any part of them) upon check-out, then you acknowledge and agree that we may charge the outstanding Charges, if applicable, to your credit card without prior notification.


5. CANCELLATION/ REBOOKING/ NO-SHOW

5.1 Cancellations of your Booking, amendments to your Booking, and/or no-shows will be charged in accordance with the applicable SEACLUB policy for your specific Accommodation and/or Accommodation rate, as advised during your Booking process. Please note that SEACLUB is not liable for any cancellations, changes, or disruptions to airline flights or other transport arrangements that may affect your stay.

5.2 Cancellation policy: For direct bookings, SEACLUB Siargao has a strict 100% non-refundable policy once the payment is made and booking confirmation is sent. For bookings placed on Airbnb and other booking platforms, please refer to the cancellation policy of the platform itself.

5.3 Guests may rebook their reservation only once within a six (6) months period from the original check-in date and is subject to availability and confirmation of SEACLUB. The rebooking fee will apply as follows:

  • Rebooking requests made less than fifteen (15) days from the original check-in date will be charged 70% of the total reservation rate plus the difference in the nightly rate if higher on the requested dates to rebook.
  • Rebooking requests made more than fifteen (15) days from the original check-in date will be charged a rebooking fee of US$ 200 plus the difference in the nightly rate if higher on the requested dates to rebook.

5.4 Guests who do not arrive within twelve (12) hours of the check-in date and time will be charged the total amount of the villa reservation.

5.5 You acknowledge and agree that, if applicable, we may charge the fee for the cancellation or amendment of your Booking and/or no-show to your credit card.


6. GENERAL HOUSE RULES

6.1 Your stay includes a full concierge service. Please contact us between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm to arrange whatever you need.

6.2 Daily housekeeping service is from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, and pool cleaning is from 6:00 am onwards. Please let us know your preferred time.

6.3 NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ALLOWED unless authorized by management in writing.

6.4 We support quiet dinners with friends or visitors and daily activities like coworking, but any visitor needs to be reported to SEACLUB beforehand. Any infraction can result in the cancellation of the booking.

6.5 A maximum of 20 guests, including those staying in the villa, are allowed for gatherings. Guest lists must be provided to management prior to the gathering, and all guests need to register before entering the premises.

6.6 Only registered guests can stay overnight unless approved by management. Visitors are not allowed in the villa beyond 10:00 pm.

6.7 No loud music is allowed. The deck is an open space and noise will travel easily to our neighbors and other SEACLUB Villas. It is important to be respectful of others, especially after 10:00 pm.

6.8 Guests must maintain harmony and peace with the local community and neighbors. It is mandatory to be polite to everybody in the community, as there are children and neighbors of all ages and contexts in the immediate surroundings. Our quiet hours are from 10:00 pm-8:00 am.

6.9 Please segregate your trash accordingly. Biodegradable and Non-Biodegradable bins will be provided.

6.10 Kindly help us conserve energy and reduce our carbon footprint. Always turn off the fan, aircon, and lights when not in use.

6.11 Towels, sheets, and linens replacement depend on the length of stay. For stays of 5 nights or more, replacement of towels is every 3 days and sheets are every week or whenever it's necessary.

6.12 The pool filter operates on a timer and is scheduled to turn on and off at specific times of the day. Please note that the filter is not intended to run continuously for 24 hours, as this may cause the pump to overheat.

6.13 Keep the bathroom and room door closed when the aircon is in use.

6.14 Always turn off all lights in the main dining, living, and kitchen area in the evening before leaving the villa or retiring for the night to avoid insects from coming into the open area.

6.15 Do not leave food in the kitchen or deck unattended. It will attract animals.

6.16 We have taken the time to take care of our garden. Please do not dig in the white sand or you will cause permanent damage to the garden. Also, do not remove or alter plants, pebbles, shells, or pluck flowers in your garden or any area in the villa. Please avoid littering in the garden.

6.17 Please do not use any type of tape, glue, or other sticking material on the wall or furniture.

6.18 Bringing helium-type balloons inside the villa is not allowed.

6.19 Electric/water supply interruptions are recurrent issues on the island. In case of unexpected electrical cuts/interruptions on the island, please be informed that we have a generator that will be turned on at SEACLUB's discretion.

6.20 You will be staying on a tropical island surrounded by jungle and ocean. Please expect sudden changes in weather, wild animals, and pests. Stray dogs should be kept out if the fence is always closed, but other animals like cats, birds, bugs, frogs, kermits, crabs, mosquitos, flies coconut rats, and occasionally cockroaches may be present. We regularly conduct pest control in the house, but visitors are still part of island life.

6.21 For security reasons, lock the villa's main and bedroom sliding doors, and don't leave valuable belongings in the outdoor area while sleeping or while you are outside, a safety box is provided in the master bedroom. We have security cameras, and the compound has a 24/7 security guard, but we advise you to take precautions.

6.22 We reserve the right to refuse you or any of your visitors’ entry to the Property and cancel your Accommodation if, on arrival, we consider that you or your visitors are under the influence of illegal drugs or are behaving in a threatening, abusive, or otherwise unacceptable manner.

6.23 We reserve the right to require you or any of your visitors to immediately vacate your villa, check out, and leave the Property premises if we consider that you are behaving (or have behaved) in a threatening, abusive, or otherwise unacceptable manner that could trigger (or has triggered) a risk to the safety and health of other guests or staff of the Property or are causing (or have caused) a disturbance or annoyance to other Property guests or staff of the Property.

6.24 You must comply and ensure that all of your visitors comply with all reasonable rules and procedures in effect at the Property and notified to you, including but not limited to health and safety, security procedures, and any other legal requirements.

6.25 You may not and must ensure that any of your visitors do not enter areas of the Property that are indicated as being closed to the public.

6.26 Smoking is not permitted in your Accommodation’s bedrooms, except in expressly designated smoking and outside areas. A fee equivalent to USD 125 (or the equivalent amount in local currency at an exchange rate to be reasonably determined by us) for cleaning and deodorizing the room and furniture may apply for smoking in any other bedrooms in the villa.

6.27 Children under the age of twelve (12) must be supervised by an adult at all times.

6.28 For your safety, all guests must wear seatbelts when riding the van for airport pick-up, drop-off, land tours, and transfers to the port for island-hopping tours. Additionally, guests renting a motorbike are required to wear a helmet at all times.

6.29 Noncompliance with house rules is subject to a minimum fine of USD 200.



7. PROPERTY DAMAGE/ LOSS

7.1 You are responsible for any loss or damage to Property, furnishings, fittings, or equipment (including, without limitation, towels and linen), caused by you or by any of your visitors. Amounts required to remedy any damage caused will be charged at your sole expense in accordance with Clause 4.

7.2 Each villa includes a private pool for your exclusive use. You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the proper use and supervision of the pool at all times. SEACLUB shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, accident, or injury resulting from the use of the pool.
